It will be interesting to see the bandwagon shift back into favor of Randy now that he is back in the UFC.

I feel like it’s staged, all of it, and it looks like the UFC might end up getting a brodcasting deal with NBC.

Either way you look at it, it sucks (except; we finaly get the fights we were already intitled to see). The reputation with fighter relations is now comprimised, not slamed by an other promotion but from the inside.

Two fighters are being shafted (Nog/Mir). The logical ranking decision would have been Nog and Mir face off, then the winner would face couture(only inspite of the Ultimate fighter campaign comitments is this not happening). I understand that the promotion value is amazing the way it is, but it definately shows a lack of integrity in the scope of fair and deserved opportunities.

We hear Anderson talking about doing “big event matchups”, Pen is markted to get the next shot at the WW title after beating Jens, Joe and The muscle Shark. I love Pat but there is alot of talk about him getting an undesrved title shot.

These actions will tarnish the spirit of MMA and the legitamacy of titles, but one thing is for sure Zuffa will make a ton of dough.

I agree that Nog/Mir are getting the shaft m. I bet that Randy wanted to fight Lessnor because he could not fight Fedor to prove that he is the best .. But it should have gone to Nogera first for putting th e time in ..

Either way the fight will end in knockout and i think that randy made a bad decision to fight Lessnor with all that ring rust that Randy has ..

I have been busy lately… Holy sh*t… This is going to be nuts. Who do you like JV?

I have been a Randy basher, but it was only because he didn’t honer his contract that I believe was more than fair. I think he has seen the error of his ways and realized he would never fight again if he didn’t just back down. All is forgiven in my eyes and I can’t wait to see if he addresses the fans this weekend and what he will have to say.

I am leaning towards Brock right now, but like he has proven over and over you can never count Randy out!

Im also leaning towards Brock BNF. I think he’ll be too big and strong. But I wont ever count Randy out! All the promoting that was done for Randy at Affliction, and now the UFC is getting the rewards! I LOVE THIS SH*T!!! F*ck Affliction and its T-Shirt guy!

I am curious to see Brock punched clean in the face one time and see how he reacts.

i wouldnt be surprised if we get some sylvia deja vu and brock gets cracked or put on his back early and spends the next 24 minutes trying to figure out how he is getting dummied by a 45 year old, and why all his size and strength cant beat skill and experience.

“I have a lot of respect for Brock as an athlete and a collegiate wrestler, but I know exactly where he’s at, he’s trying to make the transition from a wrestler to mixed martial arts,” said Couture. “I’ve been there, done that, and I know what the pitfalls are. This will be an interesting matchup, and it will be very nice to be home in the Octagon for this fight.”

this was on the UFC site, just a quick quote from Randy
